CSEPP Exercise Guidance

The CSEPP Exercise Guidance provides program guidance for implementation of full-scale exercises involving local, State, and Federal participants as part of the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program. It describes the process for planning an exercise, managing and controlling the exercise event, and evaluating and documenting the results consistent with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program. Appendices address the after-action report and improvement plan process, the extent of play agreements, the exercise evaluation guides, the NIMS ICS management structure, and a sample planning timeline for a full-scale community exercise.
